Go Wordpress. That allows you to have posts and pages and it just is better than Blogger. It also gives you the ability to update your website easier. The newest version of wordpress, I think, allows you to make the main page static and assign the blog to one of the other pages.
If you need to save money on hosting, change to bluehost.com. They have good hosting for Wordpress for far less than others. They also have auto installation for Wordpress. That will allow you to change your main website and move on to better blogging.
Are you talking about the blog or about bobbygriffith.com itself? There's a pretty steep learning curve for HTML, PHP, and CSS, but once you get it, it's very helpful. I think Brandon's suggestion is good. Go to WordPress and find a good service that supports easy installations. They have a nice variety of themes that can make your site look great out of the box.
Location: Greensboro & Morgantown, PA/WV, but from Oklahoma City
I'm married, a graduate of Covenant Theological Seminary, and an MA student at West Virginia University in the History Department where my focus is the relation of the Old Religious Right to the New Religious Right; Carl McIntire; and 1930s Christian Fundamentalism (they all tie together, I promise). I am a ministerial candidate/intern and youth minister in the PCA. One day, I hope to be a pastor and Church Historian. If I'm lucky, I'll never retire.
