A 30 page indepdendent study which I conducted under Dr. Lucas. The final title is Beacon of Liberty: Carl McIntire and Fundamentalist Reaction to Nazi Germany.
When I was in seminary, we had to subscribe to the Turrabian method. The form nazis would really crack down on you if you deviated from Kate Turrabian's methodology.
I was, of course, a charter member of the "I hate Kate" club.
You may wish to avoid my office, Bobby. I have a whole shelf of grammar manuals--including CMS, AP, Turabian, SBL, and Strunk & White--at my fingertips, and frequently refer to all, with great relish! I guess "editorial" is a personality type and not just a column in the Times.
Location: Greensboro & Morgantown, PA/WV, but from Oklahoma City
I'm married, a graduate of Covenant Theological Seminary, and an MA student at West Virginia University in the History Department where my focus is the relation of the Old Religious Right to the New Religious Right; Carl McIntire; and 1930s Christian Fundamentalism (they all tie together, I promise). I am a ministerial candidate/intern and youth minister in the PCA. One day, I hope to be a pastor and Church Historian. If I'm lucky, I'll never retire.

That should read: "I hate you, Chicago Manual of Style."
Seriously, it's easier to have good style if you practice good style in your everyday writing.
I don't do it either.
What are you editing?

I bet you'll be glad to have that done. I know you've really enjoyed it, esp. reading all those old newsletters and things. Final editing is a pain.

I actually need to learn to use those books more proficiently.
